She got her Bachelors in Music Education from Baldwin Wallace and her Masters from Ithaca College. She taught in Berea for 32 years as a band and orchestra director for grades 5-12 most of her career. Currently, she is teaching at St. Albert’s as an adjunct instrumental music teacher. Bill Park (1998-2009)

Following his career as a band director in the North Royalton City Schools, he continued his passion for music all through his “retirement” years. Most recently, Bill founded the North Royalton Community Band in 1998 and directed it for 11 years. He brought TubaChristmas to Cleveland in 2002, and beginning in 2006, founded the non-profit BandMusic PDF Library, the free online library featuring vintage sheet music that’s been viewed and downloaded by thousands across the globe.

He had an intense passion for music, a passion he vowed to share with others. It was the teacher in him.

This well-known and beloved father, grandfather, teacher, director and composer died from complications of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2013 at the age of 77 after a long battle with the illness.

His concert here on earth may have come to a close, but the music he made echoes on in the lives of his children, his grandson, his students, his band, his community and the world. Yes, his conductor’s baton was far reaching and has helped direct the lives of many for the better.
